Tuition and Financial Assistance


Philips Academy’s tuition for the 2018-2019 school year is as follows:

  • Middle School: $19,700
  • High School: $20,300
  • Bridges Transition Program: $8,700 (mornings only – afternoon Vocational Support is available for an additional fee)

In addition to tuition, a deposit of $1,000 (covering all fees) is required to secure enrollment for all programs.


Payment plans, scholarships (up to 50%), discounts, and North Carolina State Grants (up to $21,000 per year) are available. 

Limited need-based financial aid is available.  Eligibility is determined by the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Program. Financial aid applications are available online at Please do not apply for financial aid before you have toured the school and begun the application process.
